The very first HKSESSA meet-up was held on the 27th December 2019. 18 HKSES Scholars met to discuss the groundwork our Committee has done so far on the establishment of the Association. A wide variety of ideas were put forward, including details about the Mentorship Programme, options on the terms of office of the Committee, membership fees and logo colour options. The meet-up also provided the opportunity for scholars studying all around the globe to connect with their counterparts already working in Hong Kong.
The Committee are grateful for all the support from HKSES Scholars and we look forward to a fantastic year of preparatory work ahead for the Association.
